dreamsincolor: (Magic in the air.)

Greetings to all the stars in my sky, my dear readers!

This will be a shorter missive than what you may be accustomed to from this humble blog, but busy though I am, I simply must post, for today has been a red-letter day--blue-letter, too, and violet-letter, and all the colors of the rainbow besides! For your humble hostess has stumbled today upon one of the great secrets of the universe. There is magic in the air, my blossoms, and more than we ever knew.

Some of you may think my hold on sanity tenuous at best. If so, let me be the first to welcome you to Dewdrops, and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Now, not to worry. However strange this world may become, I am ever devoted to you all, and to my art. You may continue to expect the same caliber of work on to which you have become accustomed, on Rinne for certain, and perhaps more besides. After all, there is a whole new world out there, a new palette with which to paint.

May you all have eyes to see it.

Does this mean you'll be doing more novels soon?

A writer never reveals her secrets! But I am certain you will be pleasantly surprised very soon.

Oh, goodness!
Hello. I hope you don't mind me commenting on your journal, but I found it through an interest hunt. How do you do! I'm an avid fan of all sorts of literature, particularly romantic stuff and, oh, it's not every day that one sees stories like these, with past lives and all that. An unusual subject! I appreciate the theme of fighting against one's inexorable fate.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you come up with the theme of bells?

Welcome! It is my greatest pleasure to see new figures cross my threshold, as it were. I do hope you enjoy my humble offerings.

As for the bells, I admit that the seed of the idea was a fortuitous piece of wordplay--I had come up with the title Rinne long before finishing Ruten, and there's 輪 and 鈴, you see...

But it's fitting, don't you think? I had wanted some device to use to explore the duality of both Maya and Yasuyo, and bells can offer both reprieve and finality--such versatile yet evocative symbols they are.

(OOC: The first kanji is the 'rin' from rinne "transmigration"; the second is "bell".)

It's really nice and lovely! I certainly do enjoy your 'humble offerings' as it were. In this day and age so very few people are keen on giving to others.

I must join miss NekoNeko20 on asking about your future projects. It would seem these days are hard for the mainstream publishing medium. Ha ha, long gone are the days of paper, it seems.
